Jim "Nugz" Tounsend
Jim “Nugz” Townsend earned his nickname not from chicken nuggets—but because his crossover "breaks ankles so bad it feels like a pressure cooker explosion." Hailing from the rough asphalt courts of Flint, Michigan, Nugz brought his fearless, flashy play style to the AND1 circuit with one goal: humiliate defenders and make crowds lose their minds.

With a wingspan like a windmill and bounce that defies physics, Nugz became a fan favorite thanks to his signature move, "The Nugget Drop"—a fake pass behind the back into a no-look alley-oop (to himself). When he’s not breaking defenders or sunglasses in the front row, he’s hyping the crowd like a human megaphone.
He wears two watches, a gold grill, and shorts that haven’t touched his knees since '08. His motto? “Buckets come in Nugz.”
